Synopsis

Meaty Matters in Bovine Times explores humanity’s complex relationship with animals we eat, questioning the contradictions between our love for animals and our consumption of meat and dairy.

Through the realities of animal agriculture and the lens of veganism, the film examines suffering, tradition, and the cognitive dissonance behind our food choices. It asks whether deeply rooted cultural practices can be reimagined and whether compassion can become part of how we eat, live, and relate to other animals.
